Who

My name is Rico Briedjal.
My work moves across high performance, crisis and the full depth of human complexity.

Performance strategist, crisis advisor and problem solver for individuals who require solutions that fall outside the reach of conventional methods.

My experience is built across special operations, close protection, intelligence work and high risk operational environments. Environments where the margin is always small, mistakes are inevitable and the speed of recovery and adaptation is what sets the outcome apart. That experience is not a credential. It is the lens through which I read situations, people and systems that others cannot fully see.

I have worked with top athletes on the climate in which they perform, supported entrepreneurs operating at the top of their markets and advised individuals in situations where the stakes left no room for error. The entry point is the point where conventional means are exhausted. Usually that is a problem with a name. Sometimes it is someone who has had every usual route and finds that none of them adds a level any more.

Between 2013 and 2026 national media called on me more than a hundred and thirty times to explain what happens when things go wrong at the highest level. My work in elite sport was filmed for the documentary Koen & Jutta: Alles of Niets on Videoland. In November 2022 Eurosport named me as performance coach in international elite sport. What happens inside that work stays there.
